I did touch on some posts in the past to the sorry state of the game for those of us who play for love, but simply do not have the time to invest in World of Warcraft or Second Life. Make no mistake, these are great games. But if I drop the kids at school start at 9 clock, have their lunch by 11 clock to get ready to pick up, and fed it to avoid trouble for thirty minutes, then they go to school and then start over dinner . You know the drill. It is up to the household, dogs and blogs, of course.
So what is a girl to do? I want my dose of video game, but I’m not a teenager with measurable accountability. Well, I had a change of heart from what I have said in previous posts. It seems that there are options and how everything is the Internet to the rescue. Really, what the Web can be better? Here are the big reveal: I discovered the world of online gaming. No ‘on line’, as MMORPGs, I have no time for, but also a wide range of online casual games, downloadable free or low cost. Many of them have done incredibly well, with cool graphics and addictive game, but you can download and play quickly, and in fact a game when you kill twenty minutes. Think Bejeweled, Jewel Quest Mah Jong Quest Restaurant Rush. You are not tied to a video game console, you do not need the platform before the game on the PC, and you do not have to pony up to fifty dollars for playing a track. Game On!
